Grandcamp: L'Epi au clair de lune

L'épi, le soir, après le coucher du soleil. Quand la mer est haute, c'est l'occasion de faire des poses longues...

L'épi vient d'être reconstruit, exactement comme il était avant les tempêtes de l'hiver dernier, en chêne, comme l'original. Il restera donc un sujet pour les photographes, comme Bruno Mercier, qui est venu juste avant la reconstruction et dont les photos font partie d'un projet qu'il appelle Léviathan.

The pier was just rebuilt, as it was before last winter's storms destroyed it, all in oak, like the original.

It will still be the subject of many photographs, like those of Bruno Mercier, who stopped by just before the reconstruction for his Leviathan project.

Most long exposures seem to "civilize" the scene. I love the wild, sweeping feel of this one. So well done.
