L'anse de Goury, protégée par une digue pour former un port. La station de sauvetage, octogonale, se dresse au bout de la digue, et ses deux rampes permettent de lancer le bateau aussi bien à marée basse qu'à marée haute.
« La Hague à tous points de vue », c'est l'exposition permanente au Manoir du Tourp, à quelques kilomètres de la Pointe de la Hague.
Cette ancienne ferme seigneuriale des XVème et XVIIème siècle est un superbe ensemble architectural comprenant logis, chapelle, boulangerie, colombier. C'est là que Roman Polanski a tourné plusieurs scènes de "Tess", avec Natassja Kinski.
Depuis le XIIème siècle, la Hague désigne l'extrême pointe Nord-Ouest du Cotentin. Péninsule de la presqu'île, c'est un territoire singulier toujours considéré comme " à part ". Méconnue, la Hague inspire, intrigue, envoûte.
Le Tourp vous propose dans son exposition permanente, de découvrir ou de redécouvrir ce pays. Fruits de plusieurs années de création et de recherche, l'exposition balaie les a priori et les fantasmes, dans une vision ludique et contemporaine de ce territoire.
The bay of Goury, protected by a stone pier to form a tiny harbor. The rescue station, an octogonal building at the head of the pier, has two ramps, one into the harbor for use at high tide, one directly into the ocean, always available even at low tide.

This historic noble home of the 15th and 17th c. is a superb example of the local architecture of the period and includes the lodgings, the chapel, and a bakery. It's here that Roman Polanski filmed several scenes of his movie "Tess" with Natassja Kinski.
Since the 12th c., the name The Hague has been given to the northwest point of the Cotentin peninsula. It is a unique landscape, always considered "different".
Tourp Manor invites tourists to discover the region. Born after several years of research and creative energy, the exhibit sets the record straight, exposing tall tales and misconceptions in a playful and modern interpretation of the local customs.
