Un coup d'oeil furtif sur la baie de Grandcamp, à marée basse, qui s'allonge vers l'est jusqu'à la Pointe du Beu.
C'était un après-midi paisible, en Septembre, un jour où de méchants petits nuages jouaient à cache-cache avec le soleil.

Grandcamp-Maisy s'appelait Grandcamp-les-Bains. En 1972, la commune, tournée vers la mer, la pêche et le tourisme, fût associée à Maisy, agricole et bien plantée dans le terroir. La fusion administrative totale eut lieu en 1992, et maintenant les Grandcopais et les Maiserais sont tous des Grandcomaiserais.
