From under the rounded pebbles of the Bay of Ecalgrain, at low tide, small streams of water snake around the sandy beach, toward the sea, and dig deep puddles around the rocks.

If you like this splendid Bay of Ecalgrain, you must visit this site , where you will find hundreds of photographs. Someone left this commentary:

To see Ecalgrain, to sit on the pebbles on a grey morning, under a stubborn wind, to snuggle up under a rainjacket and breathe deeply, to take in the lull of the waves on the bed of grey pebbles, to feel your face wet from the spray whipped by the incessant gusts, to be alone, selfishly, so that you don't need to share the intense hapiness of feeling the wind, of filling up on Ecalgrain under the eyes of theCeltic cliffs covered with the broom smelling of coconut... I love this place like one loves to sit at a friend's house, just to be there and think that you would not want to be anywhere else, a simple, passing happiness given as a present by the wind, the sea, the beach, the waves, the rain, the light which shines like nowhere else and which I envy, of which I am so jealous.
You that life has wounded, go to Ecalgrain, alone, and with the murmur of the waves against the rounded pebbles, think only of listening, and breathe the bay...

This is a wonderful photograph, simple yet brings you into the shot. The final paragraph is also brilliant.
