Simple et massif, destiné avant tout à protéger ses occupants des intrusions extérieures, il a conservé l’une de ses échauguettes et une partie des grands murs défensifs qui l’entouraient, mais il a été restauré dans un tout autre but. Si le souvenir des hommes d’arme et des visites de François Leclerc, corsaire révillais appelé « Jambe de Bois », hante encore ses murs, il vous est réservé aujourd’hui un accueil beaucoup plus chaleureux.
